Members can receive free maps and tourist information at selected clubs. Please check with the respective clubs.
Members are required to produce their valid AAS membership card, which carries the FIA logo to obtain reciprocal services abroad.
Members will be charged for service if AAS members cannot produce the membership card at breakdown location.
Vehicle breakdown expenses incurred abroad are not refundable, unless otherwise stated.

MALAYSIA HEAD OFFICE Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) BREAKDOWN SERVICE

AAM may either advise members on the contact number of the relevant AAM branch office nearest to the breakdown site or despatch a recovery crew.
Provide your name, membership number, contact number, vehicle registration number, vehicle type, location and nature of breakdown.
FREE BREAKDOWN ZONES The Free Breakdown Zones include KLANG VALLEY, PENANG, JOHOR BAHRU, IPOH, SEREMBAN, MALACCA*, KUANTAN*, KUALA TERENGGANU*, ALOR SETAR*, KUCHING* and KOTA BHARU*.
(*Charges are applicable for breakdown service rendered after 12 midnight.)

Breakdown service only covers vehicle breakdown due to mechanical problems.
AAS membership card must be produced at the breakdown site.
Towing of vehicle involved in an accident is payable.
Vehicle recovery service rendered by AAM will not be chargeable in the free breakdown zones, except for selected zones with charges applicable for breakdown service rendered after 12 midnight.
Service outside the free breakdown zone is payable and AAS members will have to use AAM appointed workshops and towing contractors for breakdown service to be entitled to the reimbursement of RM50/year by AAS. The original receipt must be submitted within two weeks for the claim.
AAM assistance will only be rendered to AAS member driving Singapore registered car. Service on Malaysian car driven by AAS member is payable and payment must be made on the spot.
NEW ZEALAND HEAD OFFICE The New Zealand AA (NZAA) BREAKDOWN SERVICE

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Where contract garage attends, visiting member is required to pay full charges and on presentation of a valid home membership card and contract garage invoice at any NZAA office, a refund will be made.
