Claims Procedures
What
to do in the Event of an Accident
At
the scene of the accident
- Take
down the other driver's name, IC number, address, contact
telephone numbers and car registration number
- If
there are witnesses, take down their particulars and contact
telephone numbers
- Record
the date, time and location of the accident
- Take
pictures of the damage to all the accident vehicles, if
a camera is available; otherwise, note the damages on paper
- Do
not discuss liability
- Call
24-Hour AIG Auto Assist Helpline at 6338 6200 for
immediate assistance and free towing service
- In
the event of accidents involving injuries/death, do not
move any vehicles and/or persons unless instructions are
so given by the police
