AA member Mr. Tan Choon Yew will soon be enjoying sweet music on the road after bagging a Pioneer DEH-P4850MPH head unit for his car in The Highway's recent competition.

Mr. Tan, who drives a Toyota Corolla Altis, was the first to have his name randomly drawn out of the hat after correctly answering three questions on car hi-fi matters in The Highway's Sound Advice article in the Nov/Dec 2006 issue.

An elated Mr. Tan said: "I thought it was a joke when I was called to say I had won. This is the second time I took part in this competition, so second time lucky - I hope I am lucky again!" He added: "In the past I have won some vouchers and smaller items from the AA, but this is the first time I have picked up a big prize."

He has been with the AA for 30 years and says for peace of mind and extra security on the road, he will be staying with the Association.

He said: "I also enjoy reading The Highway and keep old copies for reference."
