Hassle-Free Travelling with IDP

Planning to drive overseas for your next holiday? Don't forget to bring along your International Driving Permit for peace-of-mind.

The IDP not only facilitates formalities in the event of emergencies such as police checks, traffic violations or accidents or lost/stolen passports, but also identifies your driving licence as a legal document.

What's more, it includes a translation of your driving licence in various international languages that are essential in countries where English is not commonly spoken. The IDP is also required by car rental companies.

AA is the only authorised organization to issue IDPs in Singapore.

Documents required for processing include:

• A completed IDP application form,
• 2 coloured passport-sized photographs,
• Valid Singapore driving licence,
• NRIC or passport
• Processing fee of $20.
