Terms and Conditions:

  • Space is limited. Bookings are on first-come-first-served basis. Closing date for registration with payment received is 5 August 2008 or while space last basis, whichever is earlier.
  • Bookings are deemed confirmed only when payment has been made within 3 working days from the date of booking.
  • No refund for cancellations or no-shows will be made under any circumstances and registration fees are non-refundable.
  • All participating cars will be accessorised with sponsor stickers a few days before the event.
  • The Organiser, their staff or agents shall not be liable for any claim, loss, injury or delay that may occur in connection with AA Wheels-n-Reels.
  • Every participant shall in every respect carry his/her own risk of any loss/injuries, and property of himself/herself and the participants.

EVENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
The following event rules and regulations apply to all participants of AA’s Wheels-n-Reels event:

  • There should be only one (1) team for each car. Each team is to comprise a minimum of two (2) persons i.e. a Driver and a Navigator. The maximum number of participants in each team is limited to the seating capacity of the participating car. (i.e. total of five (5) pax for sedans and seven (7) pax for MPVs)
  • Each team is required to submit a completed Event Registration Form together with full payment before the registration closing date (5 August 2008) in order to participate in the Treasure Hunt and/or Drive-in Movie Screening.
  • All Drivers are required to be valid driving licence holders and possess a valid motor insurance coverage. Drivers are required to present a letter of authorisation from the car owner if they are not the owner of the car that will be used for event.
  • Only private-registered, passenger vehicles are eligible to participate in the Treasure Hunt and/or Drive-in Movie screening. Goods vehicles, lorries, motorcycles, buses and taxis, etc. are not allowed. 
  • All Treasure Hunt participants are required to wear the event t-shirt provided throughout the duration of the event.
  • For easy identification, all cars participating in the Treasure Hunt are required to be decorated with the event and sponsors’ stickers throughout the day.
  • All incidental expenses incurred for petrol and parking, as well as other out-of-pocket expenses, are to be borne by the participants.
  • All participants will be provided with a Road Book containing Treasure Hunt event game rules, instructions and a quiz. All participants are required to fill in the answers legibly.The Road Book is to be returned to the Organiser at the end of the Treasure Hunt within the stipulated time frame given, for tabulating of scores.
  • For the safety of all drivers, passengers and road users, we encourage all participants to observe all traffic regulations, drive safely and drive courteously. The Traffic Police as well as Event Officials will be on the lookout for traffic violations. Participants who violate traffic rules, drive recklessly or perform life-endangering acts can be disqualified.
  • In case of car breakdown or traffic accidents after the flag-off, the participating team will be disqualified.
  • The Organiser shall not be held liable to any participant for any accident, mishap, loss or damage to property and/or bodily injury as a result of their participation in the event.
  • The Organiser’s decision is final and no correspondence will be considered.
  • All confirmed participants would be notified of the Pre-Event briefing details before 11 August 2008 via email.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE SCREENING RULES AND REGULATIONS
The following event rules and regulations apply to all participants of Drive-in Movie Screening event:

  • All participants will be allocated a designated car park lot for the movie-screening.
  • Allocation of car park lots is at the discretion of the Organiser.
  • All participants are required to switch off their car engine throughout the duration of the movie.
  • The Organiser shall not be held liable to any participant for any accident, mishap, loss or damage to property and/or bodily injury as a result of their participation in the Drive-in Movie screening. 
  • The Organiser’s decision is final and no correspondence will be considered.
  • Other terms and conditions apply.
