About the event
Following the recent unfortunate road accidents involving Singaporean drivers abroad, AA Singapore recognizes the growing need to equip drivers with the necessary skills to manage and navigate diverse driving scenarios and environments in foreign countries safely.
The Automobile Association of Singapore invites you to attend the Overseas Safe Driving Forum 2023. The theme of the conference focuses on ‘Prepare Well & Drive with Confidence!’ Local and overseas road safety experts will also share their valuable insights and knowledge.
Mark your calendars for the event scheduled to take place at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre on 28 October 2023, as the conference along with an exhibition provides a unique opportunity for drivers to gain knowledge alongside road safety professionals, automotive manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders.

This event is to create awareness among AA Members and the public on the importance of safe driving, by equipping them with the right knowledge and to be better prepared when driving locally and overseas.

Over the years, the Automobile Association of Singapore has always been at the forefront to advocate road safety in campaigns and outreach programmes. As a strong advocate of road safety, we have been partnering the authorities to promote safe driving through various campaigns such as organising safe driving forums for our members and the public.
In recent months, there have been several reports of road fatalities involving Singaporean driving overseas, including Malaysia. Many of these accidents could have possibly been prevented if the drivers were better prepared. AA Singapore recognises the need to create better awareness among our members and the public and equip them with the knowledge needed for both local and overseas driving.
Some of the topics include:
- Leading causes of vehicle accidents
- Challenges Tourist Drivers Face in New Zealand
- Safe riding overseas in urban cities, Netherlands
- Driving overseas in Malaysia, Thailand and Japan
- Sharing of experience by members
They include local and overseas panel of road safety and safe driving experts, who will share on best practices, knowledge, and tips for overseas driving.
Yes, this event is open to both AA Members and Members of Public.

Public: $20
There will be some coffee and tea before the commencement of forum and light refreshment during tea break.
Each participant will receive an attractive goodie bag worth up to $150.
